Our Story
Tambran was born out of real-world board experience. While serving on a homeowners association board, it became clear how much time and energy was being lost to scattered email threads, disorganized documents, long meetings, and unclear follow-ups. Important decisions were made, but tracking progress afterward was difficult. Transparency for members was limited, and momentum often slowed between meetings.
Those same patterns appeared across other boards and organizations — nonprofit committees, civic groups, and community associations. Dedicated volunteers were spending more time managing logistics than advancing their mission. Conversations with executives and board members confirmed a common theme: governance tools were either too complex, too fragmented, or simply not designed for how real boards operate.
